Convenient location near Broad Street Station with a shuttle to Penn Station is a plus. the manager's attitude during the incidentals surprise was disappointing; I felt brushed off. The room, while generally clean, had brown stains on the sheets and burnt carpet. Parking was a hassle-limited spots and unclear fees left me frustrated. WiFi didn't work well, and charges on my card were confusing. The staff lacked friendliness and helpfulness, which really dampened the experience. I expected more for the price. This hotel is conveniently situated about a 20-minute walk from the South Broad Street train station, making it super easy to hop on a train to get to Penn Station in NYC in just 25 minutes, plus you're within a pleasant stroll of the Newark Museum, just under a kilometer away, as well as Military Park and the Prudential Center which is less than two kilometers, giving you plenty of great options for walking and sightseeing right nearby, and the breakfast had a nice variety to fuel your adventures, but the parking situation could be more straightforward, as it costs $15 per day and options for street parking can feel a bit shady.

The AC and TV controls were super easy to use, didn't need a Ph.D. to figure them out! Plus, the room was kept cozy and quiet thanks to the top-notch AC unit. Also, the location was spot-on for where I needed to be, major convenience!

The staff could use a bit of a friendly touch, felt a bit off at times. It was a challenge to communicate needs, didn't feel at ease approaching them.

I was a bit disappointed with the heating in the room as I am anemic and the room temperature could not go above 74 degrees, leaving me feeling cold throughout the night. The air conditioning was also a bit tricky as there was no remote control, making it difficult to regulate the temperature, and my niece ended up feeling too cold. I also wished there were tea and coffee facilities in the room as I enjoy having a warm drink in the morning, but unfortunately, those were not provided. the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was reliable and allowed me to stay connected during my stay. I appreciated having access to laundry facilities as it made it convenient to freshen up my clothes after a long day of exploring the city. The sitting area in the room was comfortable, and I enjoyed relaxing there with a cup of coffee, even though the coffee machine was a bit low and hard to use without bending down. The AM/FM alarm clock was a nice touch, helping me wake up on time for my daily activities. Although there were no garden furniture available, I found the shops and commercial services nearby convenient for picking up any essentials I needed.

the hotel was super clean and our room was comfy. it's a quick walk to prudential center. great for events! easy train ride to nyc. sam - the evening receptionist - was awesome and went out of his way to make our stay great.
